These are made from Willow and Ash, Ash works ok but Willow is great.

I have also been on the look out for suitable materials for a shave horse for a while now, I recently decided on this piece of Oak, I have started to work on its shape with the axe, hewing it down to size. I have collected a range of other bits to make the other parts with, these will be Ash with Oak pegs.
