I think this will be quite a nice piece of wood, I'm looking forward to working with it now!.
I also got some Birch for a few Kuksa's and a Ale Hen.

Poplar wood.
Today we worked on a few Polar trees, mostly reductions but one was a fell so I thought that I would get a nice chunk or two for some dough bowls, All I need now is some time to get started hewing it to size and then work on the inside with the Adze.

Nice score Simon, i should hopefully be felling a big Birch either this week or next at the lakes, should give me enough wood for months to come
