Sugar spoons
I have been making a few spoons of late and have made some more sugar spoons.
Heres some more pics of the new ones.

Is the texture a tradition, or just your choice?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. I was taught by a hard task master who saw sand paper or abrasives as the devils work and always encouraged me to obtain the finest finish by working progressively through finer tools. I get a fine tooled finish and the smug satisfaction that I didn't succumb to smoothing things out, let time and usage make the work shine!!!
ReplyDeleteThe texture was choice really, although I was aiming to copy the one I use daily, so they are copys really including the texture.
