A few gypsy flowers and a Kuksa.
I have been showing my daughter who is two and a half now to make gypsy flowers on the shave horse.
She has enjoyed it and together we have made a few flowers for the garden .
I have also just finished this Kuksa made from Birch, I stained it up with a coffee solution and Kolrosed the handle.
Its came out ok as it was very plain in colour before, the coffee has stained it a nice rustic colour.

Large Lombardy Poplar bowl.
I got hold of some Lombardy Poplar wood the other month from a few trees that we pruned .
I started the bowl along with a smaller one and I have been waiting for a long time for this bowl to dry out before finishing it.
I finished the outside on the shave horse with the drawknife and my carving knife.
And here is the finished bowl, its turned out well.
Its got some wonderful grain in the handle and catches the light nicely as you move it.
