Catching up with some blog posts

I have a few posts to get written up of some recent spoons so I will be getting these up in the next couple of days. I am spending alot of time on my Facebook page recently and I plan on posting more on here but if your on facebook please feel free to like my page.

First a spoon that I carved that is inspired by Romanian spoon carvers. My two influences when it comes to spoon design are Romanian spoons and Swedish spoons. These influences are what helps drive my work and I hope these elements come together nicely in my spoons that I make.

The spoon is made from Cherry wood and the handle is chip carved with a basket weave pattern.

The handle has a very nice curve and overall flow to it, making it a great spoon to eat with.
