Splalted Birch
As I have been going through the crooked branch pile I found some Birch, it's been there a while but left in long lengths so when cut was reasonably wet.
A lot of it is small pieces so I carved a salt spoon.
It's just over 8cm long so was tricky to carve out with the axe and knife.
I think it's turned out quite nice with a lovely flow to it from handle to bowl.
This looks lovely, I need to get it for my kitchen as you said it have nice flow. Thank you for sharing this post and keep posting more such posts
